This camp was a fantastic event, the 10 - 13 group worked extremely hard for 5 days having lots of netball fun and developing their skills and the 14 - 17 group were definitely put through their paces from Wednesday to Friday.

      

The 10 - 13 group enjoyed working with Chippy as they stayed "steady as a rock!" Helpers and role models included Mavericks Youth Caroline Howard, Sam Brightman and England Talent 2 Josie Huckle! They did demonstrations and helped to coache the young netball campers.

      

On our camps we make a big effort to get players umpring and confident with the rules and scoring so that they can try lots of different role. This bunch of netballers were excellent at squistling "...learning umpiring and doing quizes was great fun!"

   

Some players from the 10-13 group were selected to play with the 14-17 group in match play and they certainly gave the older netballers a run for their money!

Lots of Mavericks goodies including keyrings were handed out as quiz prizes but the proud award winners got new netballs or tickets to a Mavericks home match!

As this photo proves, the Redbourne venue was spacious and great for lots of activities and... the sun appeared this summer! Good weather, great company and lots of fun. "I loved meeting new people and working with others, I've learnt loads so thank you Jo!"
