The Mavericks Camps are always vibrant as a mix of players, some returning campers and some new faces all mix up to meet new people and improve their skills.

There is not doubt that this camp saw the most extravagent and impressive cheers that the cheerleading challenge has ever seen...
GO MAVERICKS! Maybe we could use them at home matches?

All of the quizes and activities were fun but the netball as normal was the focus and the players really applied themselves well. The passing really improved but the coaches thought this was mainly due to having to throw the balls over the fence! However, this also helped players to get the muscles (and more importantly the technique) to shoot... higher... higher. We really enjoyed 21's...

Players came from as far as Lodnon to join in with the netball fun and work on their skills! Local club players from Turnford also showed off their strengths and role models included Mavericks Danni Dornan and also Mavericks Youth's Steph Collard and Sam Brightman.

Everybody worked really hard, "we were really pleased with all the improvements this week as players really put lots of effort into getting better at their skills" said Jo Munnion, Head Coach.
