Internetball Milton Keynes Summer Fun Camp
The Hazeley School, 4th - 8th August 2008

What a strange looking bunch... but they played some good netball!
This picture really does capture the camp... hard working, and lots of fun! Even when the rain fell and we were forced inside, the players were determined to develop their skills through lots of practise. Hazeley School is a fantastic venue, obviously a real hub for netball in the area and we really enjoyed the facilities.

Some of the things these netballers worked on included getting free before the whistle... which took a little bit of practise. The games were really challenging as the pushed eachother hard to improve. There are some strong clubs in MK and a lot of these players were regular club players. Polishing the skills was good fun as players worked on their passing and using both hands... which one is quickest?

This certainly was a lovely camp as Helen Stepney and Jo Bentley helped out with the delivery and Mavericks Youth & England Talent 2 Steph Collard appeared as a local role model. We very much look forward to returning to MK to this fantastic venue and to the friendly and hard working netballers... well done!
