This is the second Internetball Camp in Milton Keynes and after the enthusiasm and hard work last year's player, we expect just as much hard work and fun! Milton Keynes continues to develop their junior clubs and so there are lots of young players that come from local clubs but also school players fit in really well. The Hazeley School has stunning facilities which will be a fantastic venue for this outside summer camp. This camp is a great opportunity for players to gain access to top coaching, play lots of netball and have fun! England U19 and Mavericks Youth Head Coach 2008/9 Jo Munnion is very excited about coming back to Bucks!

Camp Content

Every day will involve two sessions of netball with each lasting approximately two hours. These will include a variety of small games, drills and match play. There will be fun events during the lunch times such as quizzes or competitions and the chance to develop sports skills through different complimentary activities.

Monday
Attacking movement skills, vision and getting free. Centre passes. Catching and turning. Reacting to other players.
Tuesday
Ball skills, man to man defending, peripheral vision, core work, umpiring (also known as squistling!) Passing and faking.
Wednesday
Speed agility quickness, shooting and defending the shot. Balance and body control. Problem solving in matches.
Thursday
Defending movement skills, intercepting and flying. Backline passes. Marking the pass and passing past a 3ft marker.
Friday
Through court, working as a team and the highlight of the afternoon... match play.

Booking

There are two methods for booking places on Internetball camps, 1) Print off and send in your booking form with a cheque for payment and photo or 2) Pay for your place via PayPal (see right, please fill out the names and days, this reserves your place) and then send in your booking form and photo. All bookings will be confirmed in writing.

If your player has been on a previous Internetball camp, you can update any previous information or request a personal booking form via email.
