A netball business
Everything that we do is aimed at netball. Although a lot of our staff seek out opportunities
to work with different sports and expand their understanding, the primary motivating focus of
our business is netball. We believe in netball as a medium to provide positive role models
for young athletes and a great way to stay fit and socialise. Internetball also supports sport
as a competitive pass time which is constructive for people of all ages and abilities as no matter how old or experienced a person is, there is always room for improvement!
Variety of services
We recognise that each club, school, player or official needs different services so we are
commited to trying to find a solution that meets your requirements. Whether you would like
a one off session about a particular topic for your club or a one to one session we will try to find the right instructor for your needs.
If we cannot supply you with an Internetball Coach or staff member we will try to put you
in contact with someone who might be able to help!
Developing players, coaches and officials
In order for the players to develop, the coaches must improve. A netball match involves
officials and they are just as much a part of the game as the people on the court and so,
as we intend to provide services for all areas of the game, we also understand that
umpiring is important. This means as well as offering coaching (for the players) and coach
education (for the coaches) we will run workshops for officials to aid their development.
Why is a netball business important?
Netball is stepping into a new era... there is no doubt that the introduction of the Netball
SuperLeague and the media attention from television coverage that netball is becoming
more exposed. This also means that players are getting more ambitious as they see
international stars on their small screens showing smooth skills and interesting
strategies. People want access to these ideas! More students than ever are studying
coaching at degree level and part time and holiday jobs should allow netball lovers to
give back their enthusiasm and knowledge to the next generation of players so that they
can aim to be the best at their sport.
If we share all our insight and experience, why will you need to any more sessions?
In the past, it may have been interpreted that netball coaches protected their ideas as
they did not want to share their strategies in case it gave their opposition too much information. The benefit of giving away knowledge is that it then forces the person to think of
new ideas! It is to the benefit of our sport if we give every player, coach and official the
chance to be the best they can be as it will force those at the top, to perform even better,
or be replaced...
A large amount of what we do relies on proactive forward thinking staff members
thinking ahead and pushing the boundaries of what we know. |
