This April's edition of the netball magazine a number of mentions of Internetball Head Coach Jo Munnion as her work with the England U17's receives a write up and also the Skills Award Cards have the middle page article.

On page 20 there is a full write up of the U17 European Championships and the players are shown in action. Once again the outstanding performance of the squad is mentioned. Ella Clarke, Layla Gusgoth, Sophia Candappa have all earned a place in the U21 long squad since this event. This is a good indicator of the standard of athlete that took part and gained experience at this event.
Since the U17 Championships Jo was also involved with the England U21 trial week end which took place at the second round of Play Offs in Sheffield. This involved a larger number of U19 & U17 players mixed with U21's. The teams played eachother as a warm-up event for the Mavericks versus Team Northumbria match. Jo worked with Lyn Gunson, Jess Garland and Anna Mayes who are the coaches that have been leading this group over the last 14 months.
When talking about the Netball Talent League (page 16), Mavericks Youth gain a mention and also Jo's quote about the level of the league is used to reinforce how well everybody thinks this first season has gone.
Page 22 - 23, the middle spread is a Skills Award article and Jo's comments help to explain the relevance and use of these resources. This also mentions how to get your pack... only £49.99 from England Netball (see their shop for more details). Internetball support this pack as a really useful way of helping players to develop their skills.
Lastly, for those more observant netball readers, there is also the new Internetball advert in the back of the magazine. This month it is clear that Munnion's all over the Magazine... this doesn't happen very often so that's why we are writing about it!
