Netball World Series!
18th May 2009

Have you heard about the new Netball World Series?

This is going to be like 20:20 Cup is to Cricket, an alternative version of netball - short sharp and very exciting! This new adaption of the game has been developed to allow international competitions to happen over a shorter period of time and to make it media and spectator friendly. The top 6 nations (England, Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica, Samoa and Malawi) are currently selecting their squadsand training for this October 9th - 11th. Some teams vary from the normal netball selection as this game is ever so slightly different from your average match... rolling subs, no centre passes and scoring from outside of the semi-circle!

Will people love it or hate it? There is no doubt that this is going to be a fantastic event and all reports say that everyone loves the ideas and the action... so, at the moment everybody thinks it will be a huge hit!

The Manchester Evening News Arena will be hosting this major new event over a three day period this autumn and I know that some Internetball staff have already brought their tickets!
